M.Tech Program
M.Tech. program is aimed at providing high quality innovators and engineers with an understanding of specialised area of the respective branch of engineering.
The Objectives of M.Tech program are:
Arrow To offer post graduate and research program leading to M.Tech.
Arrow To promote field oriented research activities in collaboration with industry.
Arrow To establish academic links with institutes of higher leading in India abroad.
1. M.Tech (Design and Manufacturing) -Dept. of Mechanical Engineering
It is good mainly from academic and industry research prospective. They have reasonable opportunities of lot of manufacturing firms.
Private Sector:
Arrow Teaching in engineering college
Arrow Consultant in transportation, logistics and automobile engineering firms.
Arrow IT firms like IBM and WIPRO take Post Graduates Mechanical engineering in their software design which support automobile engineering giants like ford and heavy machinery manufacturing giants.
Arrow Automobile, piping, power sector .
2. M.Tech. (Communication System)-Dept. of ECE
In the present science, communication engineering is of vital importance for any society. In the information and global village concept , communication system have a major role to play in any civilization with newer hand in the EM spectrum through open various new communication system are evolving at a rapid rate.
Communication is the fastest growing segment of the industry. It has experienced exponential growth over the last decade. Cellular phones have become a critical business tool and they are rapidly replacing outdated wire line systems in many developing countries. The explosive growth of Communication Systems suggests a bright future for Communication Engineering field. This programme is an advanced level course in the field of Communication Engineering offering a specialization in terms of technology and applications to fulfil the requirements of the industry.
3. M.Tech. (VLSI Design)-Dept of ECE
VLSI provides improved solutions for high speed networking, high performance computers, and special applications of integrated circuits, requiring the use of multiple disciplines. There is urgent need to absorb and assimilate the latest development in the VLSI and embedded system design field.
VLSI industry needs VLSI design engineers and embedded system design engineers. In this regard, the Department of Electronics and Communication has started M.Tech VLSI Design.
4. M.Tech. (Power Systems & Control Engineering)-Dept of Electrical Engineering
Power Engineering deals with the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity as well as the design of a range of related devices. These include transformers, electric generators, electric motors, high voltage engineering and power electronics. In many regions of the world, governments maintain an electrical network called a power grid that connects a variety of generators together with users of their energy. Users purchase electrical energy from the grid, avoiding the costly exercise of having to generate their own
Control Engineering focuses on the modeling of a diverse range of dynamic systems and the design of controllers that will cause these systems to behave in the desired manner. To implement such controllers electrical engineers may use electrical circuits, digital signal processors, microcontrollers and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Control engineering has a wide range of applications from the flight and propulsion systems of commercial airliners to the cruise control present in many modern automobiles. It also plays an important role in industrial automation.
5. M.Tech. (Computer Science)-Dept of Computer Science Engineering
