Bachelor of Architecture

About The School

The School of Architecture, Planning and Design was started from 2014 – 2015 as per the guidelines of the Council of Architecture. The school aims at providing quality education in the field of Architecture to cater to the need of the hour in the country’s path of progress. In the background of Odisha’s development for the last few decades in general and the phenomenal growth of Bhubaneswar from the second city of the state to a burgeoning capital city nearly touching 10 lakh population, it is imperative that the need for Architectural Institutions is on the rise. The motto of the school is to give the society young and qualified people who are not only conscientious architects but are also responsible decision makers who give utmost value to sustainability and inclusivity.

The School of Architecture, Planning and Design (SoAPaD) of the University follows the guidelines of the Council of Architecture (COA). With rising economic status and aspiration of the people, environmental consciousness and scarcity of traditional building materials, the demand for architects and planners in the country has gone up.
