CUTM,Paralakhemundi in collaboration with AMO ODISHA and SAMBAD organized Mega Blood Donation Camp in commemoration of UTKAL DIVAS (Odisha Day) i.e. 1 April 2012 at the premises of JITM. This endeavor was initiated by CSR.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Srinivas Mantha, Dean, SoET. A large number of students from B.Tech, MBA and ITI and even the faculty members turned out in big numbers to contribute to this social cause. There were doctors from Paralakhemundi and Berhampur blood bank who guided and advised the volunteers and the donors.
Refreshments were provided to the donors. They were also given a certificate of appreciation
157 units of blood were collected.101 units have been sent to Berhampur Blood bank and 56 units to Paralakhemundi Blood bank. We hope that even in the future our university continues to render its name and support to such social causes and help humanity in all the ways we can.
FINAL OUTCOME: A HUGE SUCCESS
A total of 157 units of blood were collected in a single day.
